The Highlands Uniform Shop is situated in the old dental clinic building on the left as you drive into the school through the main gates. The opening hours are 8.30am – 9.30am Monday through to Thursday and not open on Friday mornings.
Highlands has a unisex uniform, with the only item of choice being a skort/skirt or dress shorts.
SKORT/SKIRT – There is a choice of either a skort (shorts with a skirt front) or a skirt. They both have four pleats, pockets and a zip. Sizes start from size 6 up to size 26 and we can arrange special orders as well.
DRESS SHORTS – Highlands and NP Boys High School shorts are exactly the same so they can be worn at NPOB as well. Sizes from 8 right up to XXL
POLO SHIRTS & SWEATSHIRTS – These are unisex and are worn every day to school along with the skirt/skort or dress shorts.
PE TOP/PE SHORTS – These are compulsory for all students and are worn for school PE lessons.
SCHOOL HAT – This is recommended during terms 1 and 4. Students have a choice of either a bucket hat or a cap.
SOCKS – Black knee high or ankle socks.
JACKETS – Students can wear any plain black jacket to school.
When purchasing a school uniform, please make sure it is all clearly named.
SHOES
SANDALS – Sandals need to be black and with a backstrap. No slides, jandals or crocs.

This locally owned business makes shoes while you wait and are fitted to your child’s foot.
SHOES – These must be a black polishable, covered in shoe with a black sole.
Kids can wear shoes and socks all year round.
SECONDHAND UNIFORM – We do have a small amount of second hand uniform available to purchase in the shop.
The uniform shop will also look to buy back your old uniform once your child finishes school, however it needs to be the latest supplier – ARGYLE – and also needs to be in good clean condition.
